Makes selling a house an enjoyable

Angela, The Style Counsellor, makes selling a house an enjoyable, bordering on inspirational, experience. From the depths of reviewing significant damage caused to our old home by outgoing tenants, Angela's enthusiasm for her vision of what could be lifted our spirits - right from our first meeting. She made choices we would never have had the confidence to make, worked with our builders, introduced us to trades people and guided us with her many years of experience in the staging, letting and sales business to turn our house into a show home. In a cost-of-living crisis, with interest rates going up, her design attracted 5 viewings and 3 offers, one of which was £500 under the asking price !! Angela was also our estate agent, doing all the viewings herself, this is what estate agents would be like in an ideal world. We are so happy with the result - brilliant stuff.

First Class Home Staging

Having had my family home on the market for several months, without any success, Angela very kindly came to my rescue and furnished it, in a contemporary style, to the highest standard. I tentatively contacted Angela who immediately came across as a consummate professional with a great passion for her work. I was completely won over by her friendly enthusiasm and felt reassured that she would do a great job! She kindly spent time at my house and ‘dressed’ it to an incredibly high standard. Following her professional staging, I promptly received an acceptable offer from the very first viewing !I cannot recommend Angela and her Style Counsel highly enough - a five star service by a lovely lady!

Worth every penny - what a fantastic result !!!

After an initial consultation with Angie and working through her suggestions and report last year, I finally decided to move and made the decision to put the house on the market. I’m a self-confessed hoarder & no-one can call me a “neat-freak”. I’d lived in the house for 20 years, with 20 year's worth of clutter and “stuff” in every room. So, I set Angie the huge challenge to help me get the house fit for sale and she accepted. She researched and found me storage, she helped me declutter, and lastly she styled or staged every room. The house looked amazing, it was worth every penny and more, the most worthwhile investment I’ve made. She understood that it would be overwhelming for me, so she split it into 2 sessions. She was so understanding of me and made it a fun experience too, we laughed, a lot. I can’t recommend Angie highly enough so if you’re thinking of moving, or you just want to improve your house, then Angie’s definitely the woman you need to help you do it.

Excellent support to our Airbnb business

Angie came to our home and did a very effective makeover of our ground floor Airbnb. As a "Style Counsellor " she combines an artistic eye for design with some very practical advice on how to present the property on the website. As a result bookings have increased about 5 fold and we have attained only 5 star reviews since her makeover.

The Style Counsellor helped me in staging some rooms in my property for marketing purposes, they created some amazing spaces using things I already had and also supplying lots of wonderful props.. the photographs were wonderful. An Amazing Service

We engaged 'The Style Counsellor' services to help sell our rental flat that was looking a bit tired. Angela came in and totally transformed the place! From arranging decorating and cleaning, to the interior design and sourcing of luxurious furniture and accessories, the service from start to finish went way above our expectations. We really cannot thank Angela enough for going above and beyond and would highly recommend her to anyone who needs 'home staging'. Our Estate Agent was so impressed he said he would be using them for other properties they are trying to sell. It really is an incredible transformation.

Angela came to help with the design of our living room. We have had our house renovated and really need to put some style and personal touches back in to it, but I was struggling to find the ideas or the energy to actually do it. Angela spent time going through the details of what I do and don’t like, looking at colours and material and wallpaper samples together as well as understanding what the room was for and how we wanted to use it. Angela is very easy to chat to and full of enthusiasm and passion for what she does. She went away and put together a mood board which is spot on. It has given me the motivation to get on with it. I’m a week on and have ordered the paint samples, bought some new art work, have the fabric swatches ready to order a new sofa and have cleared out a load of the clutter. Thank you Angela.

She’s a genius

I was in a real rut with my house, and just didn’t know what to do with it to make it better.
